Artconnect Berlin can be found in the up-and-coming central area of Neukölln, on Boddinstraße. Their space offers a cozy atmosphere and an involved and friendly team of coworkers. For the first nine months Artconnect was without a physical space to work. Julia Mari Bernaus essentially launched the project from her apartment. “I was working alone for three years,” said Mari Bernaus in regards to not having a space to share.

Artconnect’s founder also makes sure to put emphasis on how healthy she considers coworking to be, not just on a personal level, but also in regards to collaborative projects. “You have to learn to cowork, and from that you end up communicating in so many ways and moments, which makes the project much more interactive” said Mari Bernaus.

The artistic coworker can also find large open studio space at the nearby Agora, which also has a lively cafe, many desks for coworkers and a start-up space for rent. Like Weserland, Agora gives you the option to work with others or to have access to absolute silence. All memberships can be combined with different services such as 24/7 access or a “fixed” desk option. Weekly rates amd starting from just €60, also include discounts for yoga classes. In addition, monthly passes offer you discounted drinks. If you book a desk 12 weeks in advance, you can work at Agora for just €28 per week.

Located in a large beautiful Altbau on Mittelweg, Agora’s Kurz vor Eden, which is the space’s restaurant, has a healthy and freshly prepared menu. If you are curious about checking out Agora, you can attend the networking buffet at Kurz vor Eden, which is hosted every Monday at 10AM.
