Even though the weather is warmer over in New Zealand, the holidays are still happening. BizDojo is comprised of 3 coworking spaces, two in Auckland and one in Wellington, which means three times the fun.
As a way to interact with the rest of the community, the spaces have posted an online advent calendar called: BizDojo Xmas Calendar. “Throughout December, we share little secrets and fun facts from the spaces, the residents and the community", explains Charlotte Forsgard of BizDojo.
"Each post includes a picture and is posted via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook”. The residents of the coworking spaces are encouraged to participate in the calendar by offering ideas and themes. “It has been good fun for everyone to try and think of something perfect”.
The coworking spaces will also be celebrating “offline” as well. There will be a Christmas lunch at BizDojo Co.Space, and the Wellington Space just had their Xmas Fiesta, which was themed "Mo’s, Maracas and Margaritas”.

Suma Conectivo has planned to go about business as usual this holiday season, organizing a Hackathon this weekend. Of course, the space will be closed on Christmas and New Years, offering a break to hardworking coworkers, but since they are relatively new (just opening in April) they haven't gained enough experience to award bigger holiday breaks just yet. This is why they have decided to remain open during the year's last week.

If you are looking for a place with fresh air and a beach nearby to complete a project, just for the summer, this could be an ideal destination.
Aldeia Coworking in Curitiba, Brazil seems to have the opposite problem from Suma Conectivo, without having a beach nearby many people leave the city during the christmas holidays.
But that doesn’t get Aldeia down: before they close between Christmas and New Years, they're planning a little party with a Secret Santa, or in Portuguese, um "Amigo Secreto". This week, each person in the office will have picked a name, which remains a secret, and next week they will exchange the gifts, giving a present to the person they chose.
